This adventure is perfect for those with an advanced beginner to intermediate skill level, with a prerequisite of Class II paddling ability. The clinic includes all equipment, instruction, a catered picnic-style lunch, and transportation to and from the paddling sites. The duration of the clinic is from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily, providing a full day of exciting river runs. Participants are encouraged to pack appropriate clothing and gear for the paddling adventure. While some areas may be warm in the summer months, the Deerfield River remains cool year-round. Items such as synthetic long underwear, fleece or wool socks, a bathing suit, and a fleece or wool jacket/sweater are recommended. Zoar Outdoor provides essential gear such as a boat, wetsuit, paddle jacket, booties, life jacket, helmet, paddle, and sprayskirt. The clinic runs rain or shine, ensuring a memorable experience regardless of the weather. Rates for the 1-day clinic vary depending on the day of the week, with weekday rates at $190 and weekend rates at $210. The clinic offers participants the opportunity to gain experience kayaking or canoeing on New England's best Class II summer whitewater run. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
